JIM CROW LAWS

 

The Jim Crow law is known as the segregation and the disenfranchisement which is represented in a formal and codified system.  The Jim Crow law affected the daily life and mandating the segregation of parks and libraries.  The phrases which were commonly used as a reminder of enforced racial order are the “white only” and “colored”.  The local government upheld the Jim Crow system and was reinforced by terror acts which were perpetrated by the vigilantes.
